We have had a full house for the past couple of weeks and now that the house is a little quieter, I am slowly trying to catch up on all the editing I have in front of me. I thought I would start with this because it has been a major event for us this summer. My husbands kids came for their first visit to our home, before now we’ve gone out to see Michael and Kiya in Winnipeg. Their visit was my first experience being a mom to three and I must say, it is a lot of work, especially when you keep yourself busy with visits to Toronto and trips to Marineland, the CN tower and the works.
There is a bigger story to this that I may be able to share one day but for now I will say that it was wonderful for the kids to finally have a chance to get to know each other better. I know that Em adored having a big brother and sister around and still asks for “the boy” and Kiya when she sees the empty beds in their bedroom.
